Animals

Ella loves animals, so we’ve been on a kick lately to go to places where she can see them up close and personal.
We went a few weekends ago with friends to the National Colonial Farm in Maryland (just across the river from Mt. Vernon) to see a few animals and wander around the vast and quiet (and hot!) space.

And this past weekend, we headed to the National Zoo with friends to see Ella’s favorites: cows, lions, and giant tortoises. A few photos from there:

We’re looking forward to seeing Russell’s zoo photos, taken with his camera that’s as big as Ella!
