In honor of our anniversary, Andrew suggested we take a relatively impromptu trip to New York to see the Yankees take on the Angels in game 2 of the ALCS.
We got a babysitter for Ella, purchased game tickets, booked a flight, Pricelined a hotel, and off we went!
We were sitting in the front row of the bleachers, just behind the Yankees’ bullpen. The view was fantastic and the game was such a nailbiter! It was cold–but not as rainy as predicted–and exciting. The 13 inning game lasted 5 hours and 10 minutes. Needless to say, I was thrilled with the outcome (“thuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Yankees win!”) and the chance to check out the new ballpark, even if I was cold and exhausted.
